I’ll tell you the Chad News First
No newsletter last week, which which was spent preparing for a vacation and being on vacation. Today, I’m recovering from vacation. There’s a lot to report. I’m putting things out of order today, for reasons that will become obvious if they aren’t already.
Support the 2023 Boston Poetry Marathon in August
I have the honor of being a member of the organizing team for the 2023 Boston Poetry Marathon. It's an honor to join Bridget Eileen, Christina Liu and Xtina Strong, who, along with Suzanne Mercury, kept the event alive during the pandemic years.
This year's marathon will take place on the fifth and sixth of August at the Community Church of Boston in Copley Square and will be in-person (though still watchable online).
I am also managing their Gofundme page so that the event will be fully funded. Please donate if you can.
Follow their home page via Wordpress as well as their Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube pages.

For timely pieces we had Silke Feltz with his Canada Day Poem last week and Mike Mesterton-Gibbons’ acrostic “No Kids” acrostic sonnet. As far as our cartoonists, Anne Skove was off last week, aand Geoffrey Fallon is off this week. Thanks to Hoss for his Comics Spotlight entry last week and John C. Thanks to poet columnists Jason Wright (Jagged Thoughts), James Van Looy (It’s All One Thing), Janet Cormier (Bamboozled No More!) and Bruce Wise (Wise Words) for making it easy last week.
