I’ll tell you the Chad News First
I’m tired. I have stuff happening. Just can’t report on it yet.
Prepping for the weekend as well as the next two. This could be the toughest month I’ve had in a while, for reasons which will become more clear.
Stone Soup Poetry
Last week was Stone Soup’s last in-person gettogether at the Assemblage Gallery. For now? Forever? Who knows? Read the Stone Soup Croutons poem from that week, “It’s Time.”
Tonight, it’s an online all-open mic to celebrate Stone Soup’s fifty-second anniversary.
Oddball Magazine
Click here for poetry by Akhil Mulgaonker, Mark Levy and Jenna Brown. Kudos to visual contributors Glenn Bowie, Linda Matthews-Denham and Ira Joel Haber.
In the comics section. Geoffrey Fallon started a brand new season of “The Secrets of Skinny People” and Anne Skove gave us her idea for a Twitter app we would all use. Kudos also to Christian Fennell for his contribution to Oddball Stories and the pair of Steven David Justin Sills and Sketchman Boris for the latest collaboration on the Ukraine war. Jason Wright was our first poem columnist as always, with James Van Looy, Janet Cormier and Bruce Wise following for tomorrow and Friday. Let’s see what else we can fit between now and Friday. Thanks to Edward Michael Supranowicz for closing out the poet/artist spotlight for National Poetry Month.
Come to my Panel at the Massachusetts Poetry Festival on May 6
