I’ll tell you the Chad News First
The wretched project from last week is done. Can’t say the same for any of the good projects. So here’s a picture of Twig from hanging out with him and Mom on Mother’s Day. Managed to post all the information on Stone Soup’s may features. Now I have to catch up with the rest of my work.
The sooner I get this done, the sooner I can actually finish something else.
Stone Soup Poetry
Mark Lipman’s feature last week was amazing. Read the most recent Stone Soup Croutons poem, “Quiet First, Then Peace.”
Tonight, we feature poetry and music with C.C. Arshagra. Next week, we welcome another old friend of Stone Soup, Elizabeth Doran.
Oddball Magazine
Click here to read poetry by Morgan Bazilian, John Sweet and Roberta Beach Jacobson with fine visual art from Edward Michael Supranowicz, John Engstrom and Jennifer Matthews. Kudos to Mike Mesterton-Gibbons for starting the week off with his timely limerick.
As far as comics went, names were dropped—well one name—by Geoffrey Fallon (“The Secrets of Skinny People”) and Anne Skove created (or identified) a new holiday (“She Who Laughs Lasts”). Ken Malatesta supplied us this week’s nonfiction with his contribution to Oddball Stories.
Jason Wright came through with his Jagged Thoughts poem column, though he may be off soon. Thursday and Friday will give us James Van Looy (It’s All One Thing), Janet Cormier (Bamboozled No More! ) and Bruce Wise (Wise Words). Friday surprises will return in June.
