I’ll tell you the Chad News First
A picture of Tiny (pronounced “teeny”) means I have a boring crap to talk about. So let’s do it.
I’m out of Facebook jail. The only device where I’m forbidden from using Messenger is my cell phone, which is still annoying but way better than last week. Don’t ask me how. Facebook is draconian but also weird and stupid.
I have no idea what happens to Stone Soup after tomorrow. Which brings me to…
Stone Soup Poetry
Last week was an all-open mic online while my head continued to reel from the new of our lost space. Read the Stone Soup Croutons poem from that week, “New Path.”
Tonight is our last night at the Assemblage Gallery. Bil Lewis is leaving for Idaho soon. So tonight is also Bil’s farewell feature.
Oddball Magazine
Click here for poetry by Jenny Middleton, Bobby Parrott and Diane Sahms. Not a bad way to close out National Poetry Month. Thanks to artists and photographers Sally Brown, John Engstrom and Edward S. Gault.
As a National Poetry Month special, we also had regular contributor of photography Jennifer Matthews share recent lyrics co-written with her collaborator Shawn Zuke. The two will be performing soon in Alaska.
In the cartoonist corner, Geoffrey Fallon revealed the season finale of “The Secrets of Skinny People” (also revealing that there were in fact seasons) while Anne Skove detailed her path to wellness in “She Who Laughs Lasts.” See also our most recent contributor to the Comics Spotlight Micah Liesenfeld.
Jason Wright led off the poem columnists with Tuesday’s Jagged Thought. James Van Looy follows with It’s All One Thing tomorrow with Janet Cormier’s Bamboozled No More! and Wise Words by Bruce Wise scheduled for Friday as always. Surprises in between? Sure! Keep coming back.
Come to my Panel at the Massachusetts Poetry Festival on May 6
I’m heading up the panel “You Own the Mic: The Emergence of Online Poetry Readings” featuring Toni Bee, Timothy Gager and Jha D Amazi. Click here to register.

Happy National Poetry Writing Month
We’re almost done with the poem-a-day challenge. Click here to read everything I’ve written to date. I’m getting sick of this. Glad it’s over on Sunday. Yeah, I said it.
