I’ll tell you the Chad News First
Spent time this weekend with a holy relic. The arm of Saint Jude. Hoping to get a poem out of it. You might even see it in a couple of weeks.
Catching up a little more. Hoping next week gets me the rest of the way.
Stone Soup Poetry
Last week’s last minute open mic was fun. Read last week’s Stone Soup Croutons poem, “Misscourse.” Or don’t It’s a failure. The pilgrimage weekend took a lot out of me.
Tonight, join us as Toni Rose gives us our last feature before Thanksgiving.
Come to the Gobble Wobble this Saturday, November 18
The Oddball Foundation will be giving away a free turkey for Thanksgiving and other prizes this Saturday on November 18 at Harold L Qualters Middle School in Mansfield Massachusetts from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
I'll be emceeing the day, but the event comes together with the work of Oddball Foundation's Jason Wright.
Click the link here for more information.
And check out the local ad from Jason here.
Oddball Magazine
Click here to read poetry by Dominik Slusarczyk, Mark J. Mitchell and Amanda Hawk. Not to mention an epic piece on the Israel/Palestine crisis by Luis Lázaro Tijerina.
Geoffrey Fallon “The Secrets of Skinny People” took the week off, but luckily we still had comics from Anne Skove (“She Who Laughs Lasts”) and newcomer Dusty McGowan adding his work via Comics Spotlight. It was a much lighter week for Jason Wright’s poem column (Jagged Thoughts), and for Thursday and Friday we’ll have James Van Looy (It’s All One Thing), Janet Cormier (Bamboozled No More!) and Bruce Wise (Wise Words). Surprise #pride at the end? Maybe.
